It is amazing to me how different my kids' personalities are from each other. Owen has always been pretty nervous to try new things (sounds like his mother) and Audrey has no fear. This was totally evident as we went to the park this past weekend.
Audrey loved sliding, climbing, and swinging. Owen is still pretty tentative. Especially on the swings Audrey wanted to be pushed as high as possible. Owen not so much.
First of all he wanted to ride in the toddler swings which were clearly too small for him. His feet touched the ground. Seriously. Then he wanted to "push himself" which involved kicking off from the ground and swinging about 2 inches in the air. It was funny and so silly!
Anyway, we had a great time. If you are in the Boise area Settler's Park on Ustick & Meridian is awesome!

They really do come pre-wired in a lot of ways. Glad you had a nice weather day to visit the park. Spring will come for good one of these days, right?
