Busy week!

This week was a crazy week for us...starting on Monday we (finally) upgraded to a minivan. How did we EVER live without this thing? First of all our Jetta broke down in December and we have been a one car family since then. It hasn't been horrible, but having two cars is MUCH more convenient. We have been doing a lot of research over the past several months trying to decide what we could afford/what we wanted etc. We finally narrowed it down to Chrysler Town and Country. For the past three or so weeks I have been searching classifieds for the perfect one. We finally found this baby - a 1999 with only 90,000 miles. Nate did some sweet talking and we got the seller to go down to $4,000! We did our homework, checked the carfax, took it to a mechanic, and we are happy to have an affordable, dependable, family vehicle. Woo hoo! So now that I have a vehicle during the day I feel like an animal who has been let out of a cage! We have gone somewhere every day this week (that I wasn't at work)! Wednesday we went to Uncle Joe's (my brother) house and the kids all got to play together. Thursday was discount day at the zoo. We went with my sister Rachael and her son Aaron. They all had a great time. (Check out the tiny braid in Audrey's hair :))

Friday we went to the park (no pics) and then Nate came home early, so we went to Chuck E. Cheese! What a week, but so much fun!

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with your minivan comment. I swore I would never own one - but now, even with just one baby and one teenager - I LOVE mine too! So much room. So easy to get Talon in and out. And so great for traveling. Mom, Kristin, Xioxi, Talon, and I went to Utah a couple of months ago and it was so great! Your kids look adorable! Glad you're free again. :)

We recently bought a minivan too. I love it. I can't believe how many friends and strollers and cargo we can fit in there!
