Trick or Treat - Smell my Feet

Halloween this year was not my favorite day...mostly because Nate had a sore throat and possibly the flu so I had to go it alone with the kiddos. Kids + Sugar + Parties + Mom alone = cranky mom. I feel bad for being so cranky, but I think the kids still had fun. They were super cute in their costumes.

On Halloween day we went to a fun outdoor party at the Price's in our ward. They have a great small farm set-up and tons of stuff for the kids to do. The kids had a blast, and after I calmed down, I had fun too :). We would have normally gone to our ward's Trunk or Treat, but it was almost right after the party, so we didn't go. I did take the kids Trick or Treating down our street. That was enough for them - and for me :). Audrey was a cheerleader and Owen was a dog. I made Owen's costume and I think it turned out pretty cute! The pics didn't load in order...this is Owen right before his preschool Halloween Party. He was so excited and he had a great time!

We also went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago to get our pumpkins. This has been a fun family tradition since we started going with our friends Steve and Janet Olson before the kids were born. They have moved away, but we still keep up the tradition. The kids had a blast - the weather was nice and warm, but a little bit windy. It was really sunny too, so I didn't get the greatest pictures.

That night Owen made a "hayride" out of his legos, so I would say he had fun :)!

Amen to the grumpies! (I was one too!) I am so jealous of Audrey's curls! The kids looked so, so adorable!

Very cute pictures. Too bad Nate was sick. Love the costumes. Cutest cheerleader and dog I've ever seen :)
