A day in the life of...Owen!

I think Owen has finally discovered he is two. I have discovered why it is often referred to as the terrible two's! I've also heard it referred to as the terrific two's. Some days that is exactly what it is. Today was a terrific day! Owen and I had a lot of fun. Nate plays basketball on Tuesday evenings, so I have the kiddos all to myself.

Tonight we played basketball. He has a little tykes hoop and we were shooting and I kept missing. Owen grabbed my hand and walked me really close to the basket (where I might actually make it) and said, "You go, Mommy." It was so sweet.

Then he wanted to be in the kitchen as I was doing dishes. He enjoyed creating a lot more dirty dishes by spreading all my measuring cups all over the floor. This is very typical. Sometimes he puts a magnetic letter in each cup. So cute. By the way, I can't keep clothes on this kid!

Finally we ended the evening with playdoh. He never really liked it until recently. I think he loves the mess he can make!

I am so thankful for my sweet boy!
