We had a great Easter this year, but we are terrible parents and we didn't color eggs. We also didn't take adorable pictures of the kids in Easter outfits. We did have a great weekend though. Owen was especially fun this year because he finally kind of knew what was going on. Nate's parents neighborhood has their annual Easter egg hunt each year, which we like to attend. This year, Owen got a "golden egg", an egg he could exchange for a gift. This is Owen with his Aquadoodle.

That evening we had a fun Easter party at our house for the Merrithew side of the family. The best part was watching the kids hunt for eggs. Our nephew, Josh, was especially cute - he is 5. These are our three nephews that live in Boise and Owen with their bags of eggs.
Audrey obviously didn't know what was going on, but she still enjoyed the weekend.
On Sunday Owen enjoyed looking for and eating the candy in his Easter basket.
We had a great time Sunday evening having Easter dinner with Nate's family. Anyway, Happy Easter everyone! We hope you enjoyed celebrating the resurrection of the Savior with your family and friends.

I can't believe how big Audrey is now!!! We didn't color eggs this year either...there just wasn't enough time to do it all. We hope you guys are doing well...we miss you!
You didn't miss anything with the eggs...we're still trying to get the dye off of our kitchen table! The kids are getting so big!
Sounds like we are much in the same boat- no dying eggs, no cute easter outfits. you got way more pictures than me though! good job.
