Spring is here!

This year the winter has been especially hard, I think it is because we had a new baby and never really got out of the house - or something. Lately the weather has been great and we have loved just hanging out outside. I am so glad spring is here! The former owner of our house was quite the gardener. I had no idea the flowers that were going to come springing up this year. We moved into our house in July so most of these flowers were gone by the time we got here. I have enjoyed them so much so far this year - here is what we have seen so far.

This is by our front porch, there is a whole bunch of tulips that just came up. I love tulips! I can't wait to see what it looks like when they are all in bloom.

This is a tree in a little "area" in our front yard. When we moved it it was just green leaves. I love these blooms!

These flowers are all along the back of the house. I have no idea what they are, but I really like them.

I don't know what these are either, maybe they are weeds, but I thnk they are cute. They remind me of grapes.

These flowers are on a bush in the backyard. Last year when we moved in, it was all green leaves and some walnut looking fruit. I hated it and wanted to tear it out. Now, I want to keep it!

The second picture is either morning glory or vinca...(watch out if it's the first one!), and the third is of grape hyacinth. I love both of those plants (vinca)and had them in our yard back in Boise *sob*! I'm with you on loving what pops up in spring - it's like christmas for me!
