Bargains!

I have been doing a lot of reading on this site called "Money Saving Mom" (I have a link at the right). She is this stay at home mom who only spends $40/week on groceries and finds all these great coupon/deals/refunds and shares them on her website. I caught the fever - and was pleasantly surprised. Both Walgreens and Rite Aid have monthly rebates on many items all over their store. Some are even free after rebate. I did a little research and found some great deals - and this is only the beginning. On my first trip - I actually made money after rebates and coupons. Here is the breakdown:

Listerine Smart Rinse $3.49 - free after rebate
Finesse Shampoo and Conditioner - $6.00 total - $5.00 rebate
Crest Pro Health Mouthwash - $2.99 - free after rebate - +$2.00 coupon!

After all was said and done the total purchase price was $11.23 and I am getting $11.48 back in rebates!

I highly recommend the Money Saving Mom site and the Sisterly Savings - it does take some research and planning to get these great deals, but if you enjoy the thrill of the hunt, you may have just found yourself a new hobby!
