This week, Owen was invited to his first "official" birthday party from a friend from church. The party was today at 10:00 and Owen had a blast. He actually couldn't sleep last night because he was so excited. They did some really fun activities that Owen LOVED.A pinata...
...played with a dinosaurs on the floor with the other boys...
...enjoyed some awesome dinosaur cake...
...and did a lot of other things. One of the funniest things was that the mom had hidden packages of dinosaur bones in their sandbox for the kids to dig up. Owen wanted NOTHING to do with it. He came up to me and said - I'm done. He hates to get dirty. Some of the other kids dug up some bones for Owen, so he was able to bring some home. A great time was had by all.Now he is looking forward to his own birthday party...and we still have a month to go!

oh fun! I love the name Owen! I thought I'd like to name another boy that, but then we'd have "Clive" and "Owen" and people might think we had an obsession with Clive Owen. :o)
