Summer Fun

We have had a lot of fun the past few days...

Yesterday we walked to the library. We actually got there before it opened, so we did some exploring. The library is right on the river, so we went over the river and found a fun trail. We decided to follow it and leads to a small park and pond. Owen loved it. Then we went back to the library. It happened to be a day they were doing a "Music & Motion" class, so I took Owen and Audrey. They loved it - it was a lot of dancing. At the end they dumped out all of these foam blocks that they kids could play with and little individual bubbles. Owen had a blast.
Last night was Nate's soccer game. It is fun to go watch. Owen has fun with the players' kids and I get to chat with the wives. It is a lot of fun. This is the only picture I got and then my camera died. Nate is #9.
Today our ward had a playgroup at the park, they choose a different park every Thursday for the rest of the summer. Today it was Settler's Park in Meridian. What a great park! We hadn't been there in awhile and there were so many great new toys - rocks to climb on, a music area, and a water fountain area (which Owen wanted nothing to do with!).

Audrey is now pulling up and standing up next to things, so I got out Owen's old Leap Frog activity table. She loves it - unfortunately Owen thinks it is still his.
We have really had a great summer so far. I am so grateful that I get be home with the kiddos more so that I can enjoy all of these moments!
