We had a great weekend - starting with our trip to Linder Farms. This has become a fun family tradition for us. We went to go get pumpkins and to let the kids play, but Audrey kept sneezing and Owen was just grumpy, and the pumpkins looked a bit moldy.
Saturday night we were lucky enough to attend Harmony by the River - which was a Barbershop concert of sorts. Nate's dad is involved in the Boise Valley Chordsman and this weekend was their regional competition. We got to hear from different barbershop groups and quartets from the northwest. There were some awesome performances and a surprise performance from Realtime an International award winning quartet - they really were amazing! Check out their website and listen to some of their stuff here.
It was really fun and inspiring to watch all these performances, and my parents watched the kids! Yay!For an update...
Nothing too exciting, we are settling in to our new arrangement - me working part time, Nate working full time. It has been a blessing. I have really enjoyed hanging out with the kids. We have really been enjoying the library and go for Music and Movement on Wednesdays and Story Time on Thursdays. There are several people from our ward and other friends that we see there, so it is fun for the kids and me!
There have been a lot of changes at Motive Power (where Nate works), some restructuring and a few people have been fired. Things have been good for Nate and the changes haven't affected him much, though so we are glad. Nate is enjoying his full time job there and I think he is liking coming home to dinner on the table - this was so rare when I was working full time! It is also so fun to see how excited the kids are when Nate gets home. I think he is liking that too!

Bummer about the moldy pumpkins! Sounds like it was still, overall, a good time though. Cinnamon popcorn is yummy!
And thank heavens for grandparents who will babysit. It's so nice to get out. I'm glad you are enjoying part-time work. Nice to have some "home time," I'm sure.
Glad you are ok. Sounds like you like being home. I love it
