30 is here!

So I am now 30 years old. For some reason this has been pretty hard on me. I guess I am finally an adult? Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share why I loved my 20's - and why I am going to love my 30's. Here we go...

Why I loved my 20's -

I finally figured out who I am and what I want out of life. I feel like I really gained my testimony in my early 20's.

I met and married Nathan Wall. This also includes me receiving my own endowment and Nate and I being sealed for time and all eternity. Looking back at that experience, I am so grateful for Heavenly Father who guided us to each other. We honestly barely knew each other when we got married, but we are so compatible it is ridiculous. This was the best decision I ever (finally) made (I tried to break it off right after we got engaged (sorry Nate)).

I landed a great job that ended up being a huge blessing for our family and a great career for me. I know that Heavenly Father had a hand in this as well.

I was blessed with two BEAUTIFUL children. I am so grateful for the privilege of being a mother to these two special spirits. I love them so much!

We purchased our first home. We still love it!

Why I will love my 30's -

I will be able to live life and make decisions with the wisdom/mistakes of my 20's.

My kids will not be teenagers yet! Owen will turn 13 about 3 months before my 40th birthday!

Both Owen and Audrey will be baptized. I am so excited to see Nate perform these ordinances.

We will (hopefully) have more children. Our plan is for at least one more.

Nate and I will have our 10th and 15th wedding anniversaries. I love him more everyday!

I think my 30's are going to be okay!

I just had my 30th too. I thought I'd be bummed out (27 hit me much harder for some reason) but I'm just excited! We're in our prime, sister!

great post! happy birthday! I was a bit apprehensive about turning 30, too. But I'm actually quite happy about it. I feel like I got a lot of good things done in my 20s, so I'm ready for this next decade.

Happy really late birthday! By the way, congrats on being released from the Nursery. You always did such a great job in there, but I'm sure you were ready for a change. We sure miss you guys and should get together sometime.
Take Care!
